With over two decades of experience across healthcare, technology, and growth leadership, Sagar Patel has built and scaled businesses at the intersection of revenue, operations, and emerging technology.

Sagar has held senior commercial and sales leadership roles at global organizations including IBM, Boston Scientific, and Karl Storz Endoscopy, before going on to lead revenue teams for 3 venture-backed healthcare technology startups. Across these roles, he consistently helped companies professionalize go-to-market motions, expand into new markets, and achieve sustained growth.
 

Most notably, during his tenure at Honor, a category-defining home care technology platform, Sagar played a key role in driving record-breaking sales performance that contributed to the company’s $1.25B unicorn valuation following its Series E funding round. It was also at Honor where he was first exposed—years ahead of the broader market—to real, applied uses of AI in workforce management and operations. That early exposure became foundational to his work today.

Sagar is the Founder & CEO of Ocean Calm AI, an AI-as-a-Service platform that helps founder-led and growth-stage businesses implement artificial intelligence practically—by mapping workflows, embedding AI into daily operations, and training teams to use AI correctly. Ocean Calm AI focuses on measurable outcomes: revenue growth, cost reduction, and reclaimed executive time—especially within healthcare, in-home care and service-based industries.

In parallel, Sagar is an angel investor and advisor, backing founders across healthcare technology, real estate, hospitality, and emerging platforms. He is a member of Tech Coast Angels (TCA Venture Group), where he collaborates with fellow operators and investors to support early-stage companies through seed and early growth.

Sagar also serves as a Board Member of Meals on Wheels Orange County, one of California’s largest nonprofits supporting aging adults. In this role, he actively contributes to initiatives that help older adults remain safe, nourished, and connected in their homes—reinforcing his long-standing commitment to in-home care, aging services, and community impact.

He is additionally active within several invite-only executive and founder networks, including Pavilion and Founders Club, where he contributes as a mentor, operator, and trusted peer.
